Picture this: Fort Wilderness campground, packed with families, and our bedroom slide decides to get stuck halfway out. We’re blocking half the road and have a line of annoyed RVers behind us. Kids are asking their parents why the ‘broken RV people’ can’t move. Meanwhile, I’m underneath the rig with a drill trying to manually retract the thing while my teenage daughter is pretending she doesn’t know us. Took 3 hours, two park maintenance guys, and a very patient campground host to get us sorted. The slide motor had died, but the manual override saved the day. Disney magic indeed! Now we test all slides before every departure. Lesson learned!
